AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BUD DAVIS CON-
STRUCTION & LAND DEVELOPMENT INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $34,389.25
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KENTUCKY AVENUE BOAT RAMP, -AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
Bud Davis Construction & Land Development Inc. in the amount of
$34,389.25 for construction of Kentucky Avenue boat ramp, said
bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of
Bid David Construction & Land Development Inc. of September 21, v
1992.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Bud Davis Construction & Land Development Inc.
for construction of Kentucky Avenue boat ramp, as set out in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated
in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No.
SECTION 4. In order to complete this construction
before the onset of inclement weather and before the expiration
date established by the Corps of Engineers, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance will become
effective immediately with one reading.
