ORDINANCE NO. 90-7-4470
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY
THE SUM OF $2,970.00 TO COMMONWEALTH UNIFORMS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF PROTECTIVE VESTS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, this purchase is being made as a non-
competitive negotiation -under Section 26-21 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be authorized
to pay the sum of $2,970.00 to Commonwealth Uniforms for
protective vests for use by the Police Department.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-210-316.
SECTION 3. Since payment of this account is more
than thirty days delinquent, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance will become effective with one
reading.
