ORDINANCE NO. 90-7-4468
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF BAR
SCREEN REPLACEMENT PARTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,204.15 FROM
THE FMC CORPORATION, FOR RENOVATION OF THE BAR SCREEN IN THE
�r SEWER WORKS DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this purchase is being made as a non-
competitive negotiation under Section 26-21 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, FMC Corporation is the sole supplier of
these components.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City Treasurer be authorized
to pay to FMC Corporation the sum of $10,204.15 for bar
screen replacement parts for the Sewer Works Department.
SECTION 2.
This expenditure shall be charged to
the Sewer Depreciation Fund.
SECTION 3.
In order avoid future sewage bypasses
resulting in discharge violations, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance will become effective
with one reading.
