AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD
INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $50,960.00 FOR SALE TO THE
CITY OF FOUR NEW 1990 FORD TAURUS L AUTOMOBILES, FOR USE BY
VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A \,
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Paducah Ford Inc. in an amount not to exceed
$50,960.00 for sale to the City of four new 1990 Ford Taurus
L automobiles for use by various departments, said bid being
in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by the Board of
Commissioners, and as contained in the bid of Paducah Ford
Inc. of April 16, 1990.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Paducah Ford Inc. for the purchase
of four new automobiles, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
the following Accounts: An amount not to exceed $13,115.00
to General Government Account Number 10-500-150-514; and
$12,615.00 to each of the following accounts: Finance
Department Account No. 10-500-120-514; Public Works
Administration Account No. 10-500-335-514; and Parks
Department Account No. 10-500-610-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
