ORDINANCE NO. 90-6-4428
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FOUR
IBM MODEL 55SX COMPUTERS AND ONE IBM MODEL 30 COMPUTER WITH
\10 ACCESSORIES FROM CBM COMPUTER CENTER IN THE AMOUNT OF
$29,830.16 FOR USE IN PARKS, VEHICLE MAINTENANCE, FINANCE,
WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND FLOOD CONTROL DEPARTMENTS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
Contract No. PCT -KY -189-0168, and competitive bidding is not
required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized
to purchase four IBM Model 55sx computers and one IBM Model
30 computer from CBM Computer Center in the amount of
$29,830.16, for use in Parks, Vehicle Maintenance, Finance,
Wastewater Treatment and Flood Control Departments.
SECTION 2. The purchase price for said equipment
shall be charged as follows: $6,506.36 to Parks Dept.
Account No. 10-500-610-503; $5,518.94 to Vehicle Maintenance
Dept. Account No. 10-500-510-503; $7,237.25 to Finance Dept.
Account No. 10-500-120-503; $7,168.94 to Wastewater Dept.
Account No. 10-500-410-503; and $3,398.67 to Flood Control
Account No. 10-500-.�0-S0,3-
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
