AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD,
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,000.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO Q/
NEW 1990 FORD TAURUS L AUTOMOBILES, FOR USE BY THE INSPEC-
TION AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
y EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:.
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Paducah Ford, Inc. in the amount of $25,000.00 for
sale to the City of two new 1990 Ford Taurus automobiles for
use by the Inspection and Fire Departments, said bid being
in compliance with the bid specifications as
authorized by the Board of Commissioners, and as contained
in the bid of Paducah Ford, Inc. of April 16, 1990.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Paducah Ford, Inc. for the purchase
of two new automobiles, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. These purchases shall be charged as
follows: Inspection Dept., $12,500 to Account No.
10-500-240-514; Fire Dept., $12,500 to Account No.
10-500-220-514. Account Number 10-500-210-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
