HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-5-4421ORDINANCE NO. 90-5-4421 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES SANDERS NURSERY IN THE AMOUNT OF $42,650.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE TRACTOR AND FOUR MOWERS, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE T11- PARKS AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING ' THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of James Sanders Nursery in the amount of $42,650.00 for the purchase of one John Deere 1070 front -.wheel drive tractor, three John Deere F-935 riding mowers and one John Deere Model 14 push mower, for sale to the City for use by the Parks and Wastewater Treatment Departments, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications as authorized by the Board of Commissioners, and as contained in the bid of Sanders Nursery of April 16, 1990. SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to _ execute a contract with James Sanders Nursery for the purchase of the tractor and mowers authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged as follows: $32,825.00 to Parks Dept. Account No. 10-500-610-514; and $9,825.00 to Wastewater Treatment Account No. 10-500-410-514. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. GERRY B.
