ORDINANCE NO. 90-5-4420
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE TANDY
11
2500 XL COMPUTER AND RELATED EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$3,771.80, FOR USE BY THE HUMAN RIGHTS DEPARTMENT, AND
, AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY SAID AMOUNT
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
Contract No. 090-0639, and competitive bidding is not
required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized
to purchase one Tandy 12500 XL computer and related equipment
in the amount of $3,771.80, for use by the Human Rights
Department, said purch,se being in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications as authorized by the City
Manager.
SECTION 2. That the City Treasurer is authorized
1 pay the sum of $3,771.80, as authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-1301-503.
SECTION 4. In order to expedite payment of this
amount and avoid late charges, an emergency is declared to
exist and this ordinance shall become effective with one
reading.
