ORDINANCE NO. 90-4-4409
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BLUEGRASS FIRE
EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,211.00 FOR FOUR
NEW SELF CONTAINED BREATHING APPARATUS SYSTEMS, FOR SALE TO
THE CITY FOR USE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Bluegrass Fire Equipment Co., Inc. in the amount of
$5,211.00 for four new self contained breathing apparatus
systems to be used by the Fire Department, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications author-
ized by the Board of Commissioners, and as contained in the
bid of Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company, Inc. of March 15,
1990.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to exe-
cute a contract with Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company, Inc.
for the purchase of four new self contained breathing
apparatus systems authorized in Section 1 above, according
to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-220-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
