ORDINANCE NO. 90-4-4405
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF PADUCAH FORD,
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $88,620.00 FOR SIX (6) NEW 1990 CABS
AND CHASSIS, AND STEWART'S TRUCK EQUIPMENT IN THE.AMOUNT OF
F1 $24,468.00 FOR SIX (6) DUMP BODIES, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR
USE BY VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING. THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CONTRACTS FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bids of Paducah Ford, Inc. in the amount of $88,620.00 for
six (6) new 1990 cabs and chassis, and Stewart's Truck
Equipment in the amount of $24,468.00 for six (6) bodies, to
be used by various Departments, said bids being in substan-
tial compliance with the bid specifications as authorized by
the Board of Commissioners, and as contained in the bids of
Paducah Ford, Inc. and Stewart's Truck Equipment of March
15, 1990.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to exe-
cute contracts with Paducah Ford, Inc. and Stewart's Truck
Equipment for the purchase of new cabs and chassis and dump
bodies authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposals and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bids.
SECTION 3. These expenditures shall be charged as
follows: Street Dept. Account No. 10-500-330-514,
$75,392.00; Cemetery Dept. Account No. 10-500-430-514,
$18,848.00; and Wastewater Treatment Dept. Account No.
10-500-410-514, $18,848.00.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
