ORDINANCE NO. 90-4-4403
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THREE
1991 CHEVROLET S-10 PICKUP TRUCKS FROM MONTGOMERY CHEVROLET,
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,689.00, FOR USE BY VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
Contract No. 090-0826, and competitive bidding is not
required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized
to purchase three 1991 Chevrolet S-10 pickup trucks from
Montgomery Chevrolet, Inc. in the amount of $31,689.00, for
use by various departments, said purchase being in substan-
tial compliance with the bid specifications as authorized by
the Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to
execute a contract with Montgomery Chevrolet, Inc. for the
purchase of three new 1991 pickup trucks, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3.
This expenditure shall be divided
equally between the following Accounts: Street Department -
10-500-330-514, Parks Department - 10-500-610-514, and
Wastewater Department - 10-500-410-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
