ORDINANCE NO. 90-3-4390
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY
LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF CLAY STREET BETWEEN 31ST AND
32ND STREETS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah does hereby
authorize the closing of an alley located south side of Clay
Street, between 31st and 32nd Streets, and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the west property line of
Superior Care Homes, Inc., said point being the
east line of a 15 foot alley; thence in a
southerly direction a distance of 150 feet to a
point; thence west a distance of 15 feet to a
point; thence north a distance of 150 feet to a
point, thence in an easterly direction a distance
of 15 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby authorized, empowered
and directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS
i
82.405, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a
judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
