ORDINANCE NO. 90-3-4388
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY
LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF "C" STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby
authorize the closing of an alley located east side of "C"
Street, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin set 30 feet east at right
angles from the centerline of "C" Street, said
centerline point is located 190.00 feet south with
the centerline of "C" Street from the centerline
intersection of "C" Street and 22nd Street; thence
south 67 degrees 05 minutes 05 seconds east for a
distance of 336.00 feet with the north side of an
unnamed alley to a point in the west right of way
of "B" Street to a point; thence south 22 degrees
54 minutes 02 seconds west for a distance of 24.84
feet with the west side of "B" Street to a point
in the south right of way of said unnamed alley;
thence north 67 degrees 48 minutes 28 seconds west
for a distance of 336.03 feet with the south side
of said alley to a point 30.00 feet east at right
angles from the centerline of "C" Street; thence
north 22 degrees 54 minutes 02 seconds east for a
distance of 29.08 feet with the east right of way
of "C" Street to an iron pin, the point of
beginning.
Together with and subject to covenants, easements,
and restrictions of record. Said property
contains 0.2080 acres more or less.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby authorized, empowered
and directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS
82.405, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a
judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
