ORDINANCE NO. 90-2-4373
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,099.69
WITH J.C. CATES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR LANDFILL
i MAINTENANCE BUILDING
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
J.C. Cates Construction Company for construction of the
landfill maintenance building; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$1,705.00 was approved by Ordinance No. 89-8-4293 on August
22, 1989; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required for
miscellaneous additions which will increase the contract
amount.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized.and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 2 in the amount of
$1,099.00 with J.C. Cates Construction Company for miscel-
laneous additions to landfill maintenance building. This
Change Order is attached hereto and incorporated herein as
if set out in full..
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with J.C.
Cates Construction Company is amended to $48,430.69.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
