AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 IN THE AMOUNT OF $126,400.00
WITH EVANSVILLE CEMENT FINISHERS, INC. FOR SEWAGE TREATMENT
PLANT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Evansville Cement Finishers, Inc. for renovation and
expansion of the sewage treatment plant; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 is required for
miscellaneous additions which will increase the contract
amount.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 3 in the amount of
$126,400.00 with Evansville Cement Finishers, Inc. as
follow:
i. Change Order No. 3 for miscellaneous additions
which will increase the contract amount by $126,400.00
This Change Order is attached hereto and incorporated herein
as if set out in full.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Evansville Cement Finishers, Inc. is amended to
$1,659,511.66.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
