ORDINANCE NO. 90-9-4493
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$65,000.00 WITH JOE LINDLEY CONTRACTING FOR CROOKED CREEK
PHASE III SEWER EXTENSION

WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Joe Lindley Contracting for Crooked Creek Phase III sewer
extension; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for
the addition of the Colonial Drive area, which will increase
the contract amount.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 1 in an amount not
to exceed $65,000.00 with Joe Lindley Contracting for
the addition of the Colonial Drive area to the Crooked Creek
Phase III sewer extension. This Change Order is attached
hereto and incorporated herein as if set out in full.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Joe Lindley Contracting is amended to $335,592.00.
SECTION 3. In order to expedite construction of
these sewers and avoid further delay, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance will become effective
immediately with one reading.
