HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-8-44891035 ORDINANCE NO. 90-8-4489 AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 4.9 OF CHAPTER 4, ANIMALS AND FOWL, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Sec. 4.9 of Chapter 4 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky is hereby created to read as follows: "Sec. 4.9. Limitation cif Animals. "(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or maintain upon any premises anylanimals which constitute a nuisance to the neighborhood, including but not limited to, animals which emit foul or offensive odors or excessive noise or constitute a danger to the safety of others. The City, or any resident of the City may request the McCracken District Court to have any animal which constitute a nuisance removed from the premise. "(b) Anyone violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon convic- tion, shall be fined not less that Twenty -Five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each violation." SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication in full. GERRY B.
