ORDINANCE NO. 90-10-4522
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF EIGHT
MINE SAFETY APPLIANCES ULTRALITE SELF-CONTAINED BREATHING
MASKS MODEL 484931 IN THE AMOUNT OF $11,136.00, FROM
BLUEGRASS FIRE EQUIPMENT COMPANY, FOR USE BY THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this purchase is being made as a non-
competitive negotiation under Section 26-21 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company is the
sole supplier in this area of components for this equipment.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be authorized
to pay to Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company the sum of
$11,136.00 for the purchase of eight (8) Mine Safety
Appliances Ultralite Self -Contained Breathing Masks Model
484931 for the Fire Department.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-220-514.
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publicatilwv-of
title and a certified summary thereof.
