HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-10-45201081 ORDINANCE NO. 90-10-4520 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF LOVELACEVILLE NURSERY IN THE AMOUNT OF $2.75 PER CUBIC YARD TO SPREAD COMPOST AT THE FORMER LANDFILL SITE FOR CLOSURE PROCEDURES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Lovelaceville Nursery in the amount of $2.75 per cubic yard to spread compost at the former landfill site for closure procedures; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications as contained in the bid of Lovelaceville Nursery of October 5, 1990. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Lovelaceville Nursery in the amount of $2.75 per cubic yard to spread compost at the former landfill site as authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 14-500-425-710. SECTION 4. In order to comply with state regula- tions to have the landfill closed by November 1, 1990, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance will become effective with one reading.
