ORDINANCE NO. 90-10-4519
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 90-7-44711?
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF POLYMERS FROM BETZ INDUSTRIAL,
V
FOR USE AT THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah authorized the
purchase of polymers from Betz Industrial by Ordinance No.
90-7-4471, adopted on July 24, 1990; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend this amount to
reflect a recent price increase.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1., The City Treasurer is hereby
authorized to amend the purchase price from $2.73 to $2.90
per pound for the purchase of polymers from Betz Industrial
for use at the wastewater treatment plant.
SECTION 2. Account No. 16-500-410-312 shall be
charged with the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3. In order to purchase supplies and
comply with state requirements, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance will become effective
immediately with one reading.
