HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-10-45121074 ORDINANCE NO. 90-9-4512 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND METZGER PACKING COMPANY, INC. FOR AN ENCROACHMENT UPON CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY WHEREAS, Metzger Packing Company is the owner of certain real property comprised of a city block located north of Jackson Street, south of Adams Street, east of Second Street, and west of the City of Paducah floodwall; and WHEREAS, Metzger Packing Company has requested from the City of Paducah permission to use a portion of City right-of-way for construction of a pre -fab cooler to its existing facilities, which encroachment is insignifi- cant in nature. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized to enter into an Encroachment Agreement with Metzger for construction of a wall and footing located along the easterly right-of-way of Second Street, which encroachment shall be of a width of five feet (51)and a length of sixty-eight feet (681). SECTION 2. Said Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. GERRY B.
