AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KIMBELL AND
WALKER IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,895.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
MANURE SPREADER FOR THE PADUCAH LANDFILL FOR CLOSURE
i- PROCEDURES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT V
FOR SAME
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Kimbell and Walker in the amount of $5,895.00 for
the purchase of a manure spreader to be used in closure
procedures of the Paducah landfill; said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications as con-
tained in the bid of Kimbell and Walker of October 3, 1990.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Kimbell and Walker for purchase of
the equipment authorized in Section 1 above, according to
the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 14-500-425-710.
SECTION 4. In order to comply with state regula-
tions to have the landfill closed by November 1, 1990, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
will become effective with one reading.
