ORDINANCE NO. 90-10-4510
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TILFORD AG
SERVICE FOR FERTILIZER AND LIME FOR THE PADUCAH LANDFILL FOR
CLOSURE PROCEDURES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Tilford Ag Service in the amount of $36.00 per acre
for fertilizer and $11.50 per ton for lime for closure
procedures of the Paducah landfill; said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications as con-
tained in the bid of Tilford Ag Service of October 3, 1990.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Tilford Ag Service for landfill
services authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 14-500-425-710.
SECTION 4.
In order to comply with state regula-
tions to have the landfill closed by November 1, 1990, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
will become effective with one reading.
