ORDINANCE NO. 90-10-4509
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WAYNE'S LAND
MANAGEMENT FOR SEEDING AND ROTARY MOWING OF.THE PADUCAH
LANDFILL FOR CLOSURE PROCEDURES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Wayne's Land Management for seeding and rotary mowing
of the Paducah landfill for the following amounts:
$47.33 per acre for seeding
11.50 per acre no till drill -one way
21.00 per acre no till drill two way
10.00 per acre rotary mowing;
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications as contained in the bid of Wayne's Land
Management of October 3, 1990.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Wayne's Land Management for seeding
and rotary mowing of the landfill, authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 14-500-425-710.
SECTION 4. In order to comply with state regula-
tions to have the landfill closed by November 1, 1990, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
will become effective with one reading.
