AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-49, CIVIL SERVICE,
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 10-49 of the Code of Ordi-
nances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 10-49. Department of Finance.
This department shall be under the direction and
supervision of the City Treasurer - Finance Director, a noncivil
service position which has heretofore been created by separate
ordinance.
(a) There is hereby created and authorized the
following positions in the Department of Finance, and the
salary of each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory
completion of consecutive years of service, in this position,
and upon recommendation of the City Manager:

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
