AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH FLORENCE &
HUTCHESON, INC., FOR PROFESSIONAL
ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED TO THE
COLEMAN ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FOR A
TOTAL CONTRACT PRICE NOT TO EXCEED
$64,500.00
WHEREAS, this contract is being entered into as a
result of noncompetitive negotiations under Section 26-21 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, said contract is for the procurement of
professional engineering services offered by Florence &
Hutcheson, Inc., related to the Coleman Road Improvement
Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED THAT:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah be, and
hereby is, authorized to execute a contract with Florence &
Hutcheson, Inc., in the form attached hereto, for
professional engineering services related to the Coleman
Road Improvement Project for a total contract price not to
exceed $64,500.00.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
account number No. 40-33-05-258.
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title or a certified summary thereof.
