AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO THE
CONTRACT ENTERED INTO JULY 16, 1992, BETWEEN THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND GRW ENGINEERS,
INC., TO PROVIDE FOR SCOPE OF WORK AND FEES FOR
THE INSPECTION AND INVENTORY PHASE OF THE
COMBINED SEWER OVERFLOW STUDY OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PRO
TEM TO ESECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 92- - , the City
\' authorized the Mayor to enter into a contract with GRW Engineers, Inc.,
for the provision of engineering and consulting services necessary to
conduct a study of the City of Paducah's combined sewer system in
compliance with the requirements of the Kentucky Division of Water; and
WHEREAS, the parties entered into such a contract on July
16, 1992, and agreed that the scope of work for the inspection and
inventory phase of said study would be determined following the
completion of the flow monitoring and sampling, laboratory analysis, and
operational plan phases of said study; and
WHEREAS, GRW Engineers, Inc., has completed work on the
aforesaid phases and the scope of work and applicable fees for the
inspection and inventory phase of the study have been developed and
incorporated into a proposed addendum to the aforesaid contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the scope of work and fees set forth in the

attached proposed addendum to the contract between the City of Paducah
and GRW Engineers, Inc., dated July 16, 1992, be, and hereby are,
approved.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor Pro Tem be, and hereby is,
authorized to execute said addendum in the form attached hereto.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to account
number 40-33-05-258.
SECTION 4. This ordinance will be read on two separate days
and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified
summary thereof.
