AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PRO
TEM TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
COMMONWEALTH TECHNOLOGY, INC., FOR
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING AND LABORATORY
SERVICES NECESSARY TO CONDUCT A TOXICITY
REDUCTION EVALUATION STUDY OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH SEWER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, this contract is being entered into as a
result of noncompetitive negotiation under Section 26-21 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, said contract is for the procurement of
professional engineering and laboratory services offered by
Commonwealth Technology, Inc.;
KENTUCKY:
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That the Mayor Pro Tem be, and hereby
is, authorized to execute a contract with Commonwealth
Technology, Inc., in the form attached hereto, for
professional engineering and laboratory services necessary
to conduct a toxicity reduction evaluation of the City of
Paducah Sewer System.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
account number 55-33-03-272.
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
