AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PRO -TEM TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH PRICE WATERHOUSE
FOR THE FLAT FEE OF $51,250.00 FOR CONDUCTING
A PUBLIC ASSEMBLY FACILITY FEASIBILITY STUDY,
r AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PRO -TEM TO EXECUTE
AN AGREEMENT WITH GROWTH, INC., LIMITING THE
CITY OF PADUCAH'S FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
FOR THE AFORESAID STUDY TO $35,000.00
WHEREAS, the City has previously executed a Memorandum
of Agreement with the Kentucky Department of Local Government in
the amount $35,000.00 for the purpose of funding a public
assembly facility feasibility study; and
WHEREAS, Growth, Inc.'s, Special Projects Committee and
Board have considered three proposals for said study; and
WHEREAS, Growth, Inc., recommends acceptance of Price
Waterhouse's scope of work and bid of $51,250.00, for performing
a public assembly facility feasibility study; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah now wishes to act on said
recommendation and enter into an agreement with Growth, Inc.,
limiting its financial responsibility for the aforesaid study to
an amount not to exceed $35,000.00,
KENTUCKY:
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That, based upon the recommendation of
Growth, Inc., the Mayor Pro -Tem be authorized to enter into a
contract with Price Waterhouse for the flat fee of $51,250.00,
for conducting a public assembly facility feasibility study.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor Pro -Tem be authorized to
execute an agreement with Growth, Inc., limiting the City of
'. Paducah's financial responsibility for the aforesaid study to an
amount not to exceed $35,000.00. Said agreement is attached
hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth
herein.

SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two separate
days and will become effective upon publication of title and a
certified summary thereof.
