AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BURTON A.
WASHBURN, III AND JAMES E. ALLEN FOR THE
AMOUNT OF $27,500.00 PLUS THE 1992 TAXES TO
ACQUIRE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 411-413 SOUTH
FIFTH STREET, PADUCAH, MCCRACKEN COUNTY,
KENTUCKY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to enter into a contract with Burton A. Washburn, III
and James E. Allen for the amount of $27,500.00 plus 1992 ad
valorem taxes that are due and owing on the subject property for
the acquisition of property located at 411-413 South Fifth Street
in accordance with the purchase agreement, a copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set out
herein.
r SECTION 2. That Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to enter into and execute any and all documentation
necessary to effectuate the purchase of the aforesaid property in
accordance with the purchase agreement which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 3. The account number for this expenditure
shall be determined by the City Manager.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of title
and a certified summary thereof.
