AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CHEMLABS,
INC., IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $33,886.00, FOR
THE PURCHASE OF LABORATORY WASTEWATER TESTING
SERVICES UTILIZED IN THE INDUSTRIAL
PRETREATMENT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR PRO -TEM TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of
ChemLabs, Inc., in the total amount of $33,886.00, for the
purchase of laboratory wastewater testing services utilized in
the industrial pretreatment program; said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications as contained
in the bid of ChemLabs, Inc., of November 24, 1992.
SECTION 2. Said total amount set forth in Section 1
shall be allocated between wastewater testing and sludge testing
as follows:
Wastewater Testing --$21,818.00
Sludge Testing --$12,068.00
Total --$33,886.60
SECTION 3. That the Mayor Pro -Tem be authorized to
execute a contract with ChemLabs, Inc., for wastewater testing
services, authorized in Section 1 and allocated in Section 2,
according to the specs, bid proposal, and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 4. This expenditure shall be charged to
account numbers 55-33-02-272 and/or 55-33-04-272.
SECTION 5. This ordinance will be read on two separate
days and will become effective upon publication of title and a
certified summary thereof.
