AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PRO -TEM TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH PHOTO SCIENCE, INC. FOR DIGITAL
MAPPING SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $99,464.00
�? WHEREAS, the City of Paducah requested proposals for
the development of a digitized base map for use with a GIS
system; and
WHEREAS, PHOTO SCIENCE, INC., submitted a proposal
for digital mapping services that will provide the necessary
work to complete the project according to the request for
proposals.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor Pro -Tem is hereby authorized
to execute an Agreement with PHOTO SCIENCE, INC., for digital
mapping services in the amount not to exceed $99,464.00.
This agreement is attached hereto and incorporated by
reference as if fully set out herein..
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 01-33-09-258.
SECTION 3.
An emergency is declared to exist due to
the fact that the best time period for aerial photography is
prior to the emergence of seasonal vegetation. Therefore,
this ordinance shall have one reading and become effective
upon passage. A summary of this ordinance shall be published
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
