AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR PRO TEM OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO EXECUTE AN
APPLICATION TO THE KENTUCKY ARTS COUNCIL
IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $11,440.00,
FOR AN ARTS COORDINATOR SALARY
ASSISTANCE GRANT AND ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS
INCIDENT THERETO NECESSARY TO OBTAIN

WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, desires to
continue to participate in the Kentucky Arts Council Salary
Assistance Grant Program whereby it may continue to
coordinate and promote recreational and cultural arts
expression in Paducah and McCracken County;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. THE Mayor Pro Tem is authorized to
execute an application to the Kentucky Arts Council in an
amount not to exceed $11,440.00, for an Arts Coordinator
Salary Assistance Grant and any documents incident thereto
necessary to obtain same.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
account number 01-88-26
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title or a certified summary thereof.
