ORDINANCE #93-2- 4906
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$21,970.00 WITH H&S EXCAVATING, INC.,
FOR PROVIDING ALL NECESSARY SERVICES TO
REMOVE UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS AT THE
CITY OF PADUCAH'S PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED THAT:
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, advertised
for proposals for the removal of underground storage tanks
at the Public Works Facility; and
WHEREAS, five proposals were received and
evaluated, and it is the recommendation of the City Engineer
that the low bid of H&S Excavating, Inc., in the amount of
$21,970.00 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED THAT:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah, Kentucky, accepts
the bid of H&S Excavating, Inc., in the amount of $21,970.00
for providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and
services necessary for the removal of underground storage
tanks of the City of Paducah Public Works Facility, all in
accordance with drawings, specifications, and other contract
documents prepared by the Engineering Division of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. The Mayor Pro Tem is hereby authorized
and directed to execute the aforesaid contract.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
account number
SECTION 4. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title or a certified summary thereof.
