ORDINANCE #93- 1 - 4897
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO PURCHASE THE REAL PROPERTY OF BOBBY
AND NANCY WALLS LOCATED AT 2911 HOLT ROAD,
PADUCAH, MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY, FOR AND
IN CONSIDERATION OF $110,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to purchase from Bobby and Nancy Walls the real
property located at 2911 Holt Road, Paducah, McCracken County,
Kentucky, for and in consideration of $110,000.00 in accordance
with the letter of intention dated January 11, 1993, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if
fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to enter into and execute any and all documentation
necessary to effectuate the purchase of the aforesaid property in
accordance with the aforesaid letter of intention.
SECTION 3. The account number of this expenditure
shall be determined by the City Manager. This expenditure shall
be transferred from the General Fund fund balance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of title
and a certified summary thereof.
