ORDINANCE NO. 93-6-4958
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR UP TO $10,000.00 IN MATCHING FUNDS
FROM THE KENTUCKY DIVISION OF FORESTRY'S AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL -
URBAN FORESTRY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR THE PURPOSE OF INITIATING
A CITY TREE INVENTORY AND FOR ASSISTANCE IN FUNDING THE CITY
FORESTER POSITION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:.
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a Memorandum of Agreement for up to $10,000.00 in
matching funds from the Kentucky Division of Forestry's America
the Beautiful -Urban Forestry Assistance Program for the purpose
of initiating a city tree inventory and assistance in funding
the city forester's position. The Memoradum of Agreement is
attached and incorporated by reference as if fully set out
herein.
SECTION 2. The account for this expenditure is
01-22-16-258.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
