ORDINANCE NO. 93-96-4944
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH NAVISTAR INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT
OF $100,000.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO INTERNATIONAL 4900
SERIES CREW CAB CHASSIS TRUCKS, FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF
ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES AND THE PUBLIC WORKS �.
DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Navistar International Corporation in the
amount of $100,000.00 for the purchase of two International
4900 Series Crew Cab Chassis trucks, for use by the Department
of Environmental and Engineering Services and the Public Works
Department. This equipment is to be purchased under the
Commonwealth of Kentucky Price Contract No. 000857.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged as
follows: $50,000.00 to Account No. 55-33-02-440 and $50,000.00
to Account No. 01-22-02-442.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
