AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-297(b)(4) of
ARTICLE RVI. HUNAN RIGHTS COMKISSION. OF
CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, an ambiguity may exist regarding Section
2-297(b)(4) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky;
and
WHEREAS, in order to remove any ambiguity, the following
amendment is adopted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that Section 2-297(b)(4) of
Article XVI, Human Rights Commission, of Chapter 2 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to
hereinafter read as follows:
(4) Upon the approval of the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paducah it may
employ an executive director, attorneys, hearing
examiners, clerks, and other employees and
agents as are required to carry out the duties
and powers of the Commission.
This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon publication of title or a certified summary
thereof.
