ORDINANCE NO. 93-8-��
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND J.
PATRICK KERR, ARCHITECT AIA, FOR CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION
OF SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER TO INCLUDE PARKS AND LEISURE
SERVICE CENTER AND TO CHANGE THE SCOPE OF WORK AND ADJUST
THE FEE ACCORDINGLY
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah entered into a
contract with J. Patrick Kerr, Architect AIA, for
construction and renovation of Senior Citizens Center by
Ordinance No. 92-11-4865, dated November 4, 1992; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend this contract to
include Parks and Leisure Service Center and to adjust the
scope of work and adjust the fee accordingly.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute an Amendment to Contract between the City of Paducah
and J. Patrick Kerr, Architect AIA, to include Parks and
Leisure Service Center and to change the scope of work and
adjust the fee accordingly. A copy of the original contract
and contract amendment are attached hereto and incorporated
by reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. The changes as authorized in the
contract documents according to the specifications, bid
proposals, contract documents and change orders heretofore
approved shall not exceed the amounts contained in the
Amendment to Contract
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No.
SECTION 4. In order to finalize architectural
services and obtain bids for the completion of this project
before the onset of inclement weather, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance will become
effective with one reading.
