ORDINANCE NO. 93-8- 4 �7 S -P--
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $81,327.65
WITH H & S EXCAVATING, INC. FOR UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK
REMOVAL AT THE PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
H & S Excavating, Inc. for underground storage tank removal
l at the Public Works facility; and
w`I WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required to
increase the original site area to be cleaned.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 1 with H & S
Excavating, Inc. for increasing the original site area to be
cleaned at the Public Works facility, which will increase
the contract amount by $81,327.65. This Change Order is
attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully
set out herein.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
H & S Excavating, Inc. is amended to $103,297.65.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 40-88-29-259.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
r� separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
