ORDINANCE NO. 93-8-
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR LOCAL AGENCY RAILWAY -HIGHWAY GRADE
SEPARATION IMPROVEMENTS WITH PADUCAH AND ILLINOIS RAILROAD IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE COLEMAN ROAD PROJECT
WHEREAS, in the interest of public safety and
convenience, the parties hereto propose to improve the
railway -highway grade separation in conjunction with the
Coleman Road project; and
WHEREAS, the parties mutually agree to accomplish the
proposed improvements, all or in part, through the use of
Federal, State and/or Local Agency funds which are provided
under applicable Federal, State and/or Local Agency Act, Law
and/or appropriation; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached a mutual agreement
for this project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute an Agreement for Local Agency Railway -
Highway Grade Separation Improvements with Paducah and Illinois
Railroad in conjunction with the Coleman Road project. This
Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as
if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publica-
tion pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
