AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, MCCRACKEN COUNTY, AND
ANGEL OF MERCY, INC., WHEREBY ANGEL OF
MERCY WILL RECEIVE A SUM NOT TO EXCEED
$125,000.00 FROM THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR
PROVIDING 24-HOUR EMERGENCY AMBULANCE
SERVICE TO CITIZENS, SUBJECT TO
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
�W WHEREAS, the City deems 24-hour emergency ambulance
service to be a public necessity; and
WHEREAS. Angel of Mercy, Inc., and the City have come to an
agreement regarding Angel of Mercy providing such a service and have
agreed to the terms and conditions of same;
Kentucky:
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City of Paducah,
SECTION 1.. That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to
execute a contract by and between the City of Paducah, McCracken
County, and Angel of Mercy, Inc . , whereby Angel of Mercy will receive a
sum not to exceed $125,000.00 from the City of Paducah for providing 24-
hour emergency ambulance service to citizens, subject to additional terms
and conditions.
SECTION 2. Said contract is attached hereto and incorporated
by reference herein as if set out in full.

days and become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS
Chapter 424.
