ORDINANCE NO. 93-9-5007
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WAHL'S EXCAVATING &
UNDERGROUND, INC. FOR RENTAL OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of
Wahl's Excavating and Underground, Inc. for rental of the
following equipment, at the following per hour prices:
Tractor Scraper
$95.00
Dump Truck (Tandem Axle)
$40.00
Dump Truck (Tri -Axle)
$42.50
Excavator
$70.00
Backhoe
$42.50
Track Loader
$54.00
Motor Grader
$60.00
Pneumatic Roller
$42.50
Dozer
$45.00
Dozer (Large)
$72.50
Said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
i specifications and advertisement for bids, and as contained in
the bid of Wahl's Excavating and Underground of September 13,
1993.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a
contract with Wahl's Excavating and Underground, Inc. for the
rental of the equipment listed above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said rental
equipment shall be charged to the following accounts:
Sewer Construction 55-33-05-415
Floodwall 01-33-08-278
Sewer Collection 55-33-02-278
Parks 01-24-02-278

SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist in order
that various projects be completed before the onset of inclement
weather. Therefore, this ordinance shall have one reading and
become effective upon passage. A summary of this ordinance shall
be published pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
