AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the
City of Paducah in 1976; and
WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission conducted
a thorough study and review of the City's Comprehensive
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission conducted
a public hearing on February 6, 1989; and
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of the Paducah
Planning Commission, the City by Ordinance No. 89-2-4207
adopted the Comprehensive Plan of 1988, as appears in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Paducah, and as
received and filed by the City Commission on February 14,
1989; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No.
91-7-4634 amended the Comprehensive Plan by adding an
amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan Amendment for
Highway 60 Annexation Area"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No.
92-5-4763 amended the Comprehensive Plan by adding an
amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the
Paducah Information Age Park"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No.
92-8-4813 amended the Comprehensive Plan by adding an
amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the
Fairways"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance No.
92-12-4879 amended the Comprehensive Plan by adding and
amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the
West Park Village Area,;" and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah by Ordinance
93-5-4941 amended by Comprehensive Plan by adding an
amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the
Paducah Information Age Park", and
WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission has
recommended to the Board of Commissioners that the
Comprehensive Plan of the City of Paducah be amended by
adding an amendment entitled, "Comprehensive Plan
Amendment for Paducah Waterfront Plan".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby amends the
Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 89-2-4207 on
February 28, 1989, by adopting an amendment entitled,
"Comprehensive Plan Amendment for Paducah Waterfront Plan".
This Amendment is attached hereto and incorporated by
reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
