ORDINANCE NO. 93-11-5034
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SECTION 8
ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT NO. A -2877-V, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING
TO SAME
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah (herein called the
"Local Authority") proposes to enter into a contract (herein
called the "Section 8 Annual Contributions Contract") with
the United States of America, Department of Housing and
Urban Development (herein called the "Government").
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 8 Annual Contributions
Contract No. A -2877-V for funding for the Family Self -
Sufficiency Program is hereby approved and accepted both as
to form and substance.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract and
all documents on behalf of the Local Authority, and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to impress and
attest the official seal of the Local Authority on each such
counterpart and to forward said executed counterparts, or
any of them, to the Government, together with such other
documents evidencing the approval and authorizing the
execution thereof as may be required by the Government.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
