AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,200.00 WITH
WILKINS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE NOBLE PARK DISABILITY
NATURE TRAIL
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Wilkins Construction Company for construction of the Noble Park
Disability Nature Trail; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$3,200.00 is required to erect a stone base for a sign marking
the Nature Trail, which will increase the contract amount.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$3,200.00 with Wilkins Construction Company to erect a stone
base for a sign marking the Noble Park Disability Nature Trail.
This Change Order is attached hereto and incorporated herein as
if set out in full.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with Wilkins
Construction Company is amended to $42,153.00.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 01-24-02-415.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
