ORDINANCE NO. 93- /,/-,S-0,3Z
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 IN THE AMOUNT OF $400.00 WITH
ASPHALT PAVING, INC. FOR WEST VALE SEWER EXTENSION
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Asphalt Paving, Inc. for construction of West Vale
Subdivision Sanitary Sewer Extension; and
y WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$4,313.25 was approved by Ordinance No. 93-1-4894 on January
26, 1993; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required for
extra work for placement of rip rap on an exposed lateral in
a creek.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 2 in the amount of
$400.00 with Asphalt Paving, Inc. for construction of West
Vale Sanitary Sewer Extension. This Change Order is
attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out in
full.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Asphalt Paving, Inc. is amended to $86,642.15.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 55-33-05-470.
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
