ORDINANCE NO. 2003-3-6619
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC. 18.31 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sec. 18.31 is hereby amended to read as follows:
' Building, energy conservation, an&mechanical code, and residential code
adopted; applicability of building code.
(A) The4-9.94 2002 edition of the Kentucky Building Code; the BOCA
International Basic Mechanical Code, 49-9-3 2000 edition; and the BOCA International Basic
Energy Conservation Code, 4993 2000 edition; and all subsequent editions of these Codes and
M amendments as adopted by Kentucky Board of Housing, Buildings and Construction are
hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this code as if fully set forth herein.
(B) The Kentucky Building Code is hereby made applicable to all buildings within
the city, ;„^'„ding si.,& excluding one and two-family dwellings.
(C) The Kentucky esidential Code is hereby made applicable to all one and two-
family dwellings and normally accepted accessory structures.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
