ORDINANCE NO. 89-1-4180
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF H & G CONSTRUC-
TION COMPANY, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $142,938.75 FOR SEWER
LINE RELOCATION AND LEACHATE COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR THE
PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY LANDFILL, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of H & G Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of
$142,938.75 for sewer line relocation and leachate collec-
tion system for the Paducah -McCracken County Landfill, said
bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifica-
tions and advertisement for bids as was authorized by a
Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on
October 25, 1988, and as contained in the bid of H & G
Construction Company, Inc., dated November 29, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with H & G Construction Company, Inc. for
landfill sewer line relocation and leachate collection
system authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account Number 10-500-425-710.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
