ORDINANCE NO. 88-6-4078
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY THE SUM OF
$12,340.40 TO WAHL'S EXCAVATING FOR THE PURCHASE OF DIRT FOR LANDFILL
WHEREAS, the the City has an agreement with the Natural
Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet, Commonwealth of
Kentucky, for providing cover for the landfill; and
WHEREAS, the City was unable to obtain an adequate supply of
dirt from its current contractor.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer is authorized to pay the
sum of $12,340.40 to Wahl's Excavating for landfill cover dirt
purchased at $2.43 per cubic yard.
SECTION 2. This purchase shall be charged to Account No.
10-500-420-710.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified,
summary thereof. �
